Network Operations
The Network Operations Team is responsible for providing a broad range of technical support services for the daily operations, maintenance, and administration of backbone attached systems and services used by all Headquarters organizations.
The Network Operations Help Desk is the focal point for day-to-day operations. DOE HQ LAN customers and end-users can direct their calls to our Help Desk to report a problem, to obtain current status of an incident involving a system or end-user, and to request technical assistance when needed.

Network Security
The Network Security Team is responsible for providing a broad range of technical support services for the daily operations, maintenance, and administration of the DOE HQ network security systems.
Network security coverage is provided on a 24 hours per day/7 days per week basis.

Corporate Network
The DOE Corporate Network (DOEnet) is the Department of Energy's private IP MPLS wide area network (WAN) providing encrypted “any to any” connectivity to DOE sites across the United States. The network is FIPS 140-2 compliant designed to transmit unclassified, but business sensitive data.
