E-Government
The Department of Energy (DOE) Electronic Government (E-Government) strategy continues to adhere to guidance disseminated by the President’s Management Agenda (PMA) (exit DOE). The goal of E-Government is to utilize technology to improve how the Federal Government serves citizens, businesses and agencies.
DOE supports the President’s E-Government Initiatives through a governance process overseen by the Chief Information Officer which ensures the alignment to the Department’s Strategic Plan. These efforts along with many other Departmental Initiatives help DOE:
- Eliminate redundancies
- Reduce costs
- Increase cyber security
